The East Coast Fitness project was completed on April 2, 2011. East Coast Fitness has just finished major updates to its fitness center and business model. They have just finished a 10,000 square foot build out with the second half of the build out planned for this year. They have started offering classes to draw a newer younger crowd while expanding business to new markets. The owner also recognized the need to update its web presence to provide an informative and interactive website to its clients.

Sprocket Werks
Sprocket Werks began as a discussion forum in 2004 for a local group of modified sport bike enthusiast. We had tremendous growth reaching over 600,000 unique visitors generating over 3 million page views on a monthly basis. We held top spots on major search engines for our target keywords. I worked long hours traveling the country making updates on the road and pushing out new content every month. I closed Sprocket Werks late in 2007 due to an illness in my family. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and I made the decision to come home so I could spend as much time with her as possible. The site has been closed almost 3 years and I like to keep it running as it was one of my favorite personal projects with many loyal fans. This year I chose to do a redesign and showcase our previous content with a fresh new design. Take a peek at the new mockup and the new retro logo. The new site should launch by the end of July.

Solange Wedding and Engagement Photographer
Solange is a wedding and engagement photographer working in the northeast getting ready for the busy summer season. A wedding photographer as with any creative profession depends on the quality of work and is reliant upon word of mouth advertising. Solange knew her website was in dire need of a redesign to showcase her talents to prospective clients and connections she would make over the summer months. The new website based on simplicity provides a great user experience showcasing amazing wedding photography with an elegant feminine style. On the homepage a jQuery slider displays large quality images from the photographer's portfolio. Also on the homepage is a blog feed to display articles, thoughts and the addition of new content. The blog is focused on photography linking and displaying galleries with the article and opening images in a jQuery modal window. The new site also contains sections about the photographer, the services she offers, a gallery, the blog page and a contact form. The gallery is organized by a main category and a sub category to break up the types of photography she will display. The about and services sections are simple and clutter free allowing the user to get the information they need without hassle. The contact page is also simple requiring only needed information, more of an ice breaker in which more details can be communicated later as most photographers like to meet in person to show off their portfolio. The contact form is a messaging system built into the content management system allowing Solange to then reply by email. The entire site is data driven by ASP.NET and can be updated through a custom CMS. The site was just completed and is awaiting content to be uploaded through the CMS however the site may still be viewed with place holder content.

Werked Creative
Welcome to the new Werked website. The focus of the new site was on simplicity while showcasing my work for potential clients and employers. I have decided it would be best to showcase my portfolio as a blog or what I like to call, the feed. On the homepage the feed consist of the most recent articles and can be filtered by category. The Work tab shows the feed with articles that only contain my previous work. I feel that this would provide the best user experience while allowing me display my various types of work as well as articles and tutorials related to web design, development and photography. Articles and work in the feed may also be linked to a gallery that will be displayed within the article as well as in the gallery. The gallery tab shows my media portfolio organized into collections of photography, web design screen shots, mockups and graphics. Hope that everyone enjoys the new Werked web site. I have a lot content to share.
